The BCC:

• Adopts the county budget
   
• Sets the countywide millage rate
   
• Holds required public hearings under TRIM
   
• Determines funding levels for:
   
  • Sheriff & public safety
     
  • Roads & infrastructure
     
  • Parks & libraries
     
  • Emergency services
     
  • General county operations
     

The BCC does not determine property values.
